The Pyjama Girl Case

In New South Wales, two seemingly unrelated events unfold: a charred, murdered body of a young lady is discovered on the beach, prompting a retired inspector to investigate; and Linda, a waitress and ferry attendant, has multiple lovers and marries one, but continues to see the others. The police have a suspect in the murder, but the retired inspector is confident that they are mistaken; he continues his inquiry in a systematic manner.
