The Upside Down Show
On Noggin, Nick Junior Australia, and ABC Australia, Shane Dundas and David Collins starred in the Logie Award-winning show The Upside Down Show. They portray two brothers who share a bizarre house with a wide range of odd rooms. The highly acclaimed Sesame Workshop produced 13 episodes, which aired on Nick Jr. Australia in August 2006 and Noggin US on October 16, 2006. The Sesame Workshop logo used on this show is only seen on Noggin. Initial reactions to The Upside Down Show were not as good as those to Play With Me, Sesame Street and Caillou during the 2006-2007 season. The first episode of the show was criticized for being too similar to Ernie and Bert. Shane Dundas raised worries about the show returning for a third season in an interview with the New York Post on December 27th, 2006. A third season of The Upside Down Show was not offered by Nickelodeon/Noggin USA on June 1, 2007, according to the Umbilical Brothers' website. In2007, the show won the Creative Craft Daytime Emmy Award for Main Title Design and the Parents' Choice Award Silver Honor for Television.
