The Church
The preacher of an once vivid, landmark Baptist church, now battling to endure, is the single hold-out in a rotting Philadelphia neighborhood allocated for gentrification. Yet inevitably, the preacher's cold-blooded resolve to preserve his family's evangelical tradition in the neighborhood and diminishing members liquifies under relentless stress from his status-seeking wife and hoggish church leaders-- Lured by cash allurements and also assures from dishonest designers to establish a showy "mega-ministry" somewhere else. Quickly, the spirits of establishing congregational participants-- stirred from the disquiet of their tombs by the remorseless trespasses of one more generation-- start to make their annoyance recognized. As the sinners-- abruptly as well as inexplicably bound within the boundaries of the sanctuary-- fall prey, they have to all re-examine their options as well as acquiesce the will of the commitment ... only to expose the righteous among them.
