Lockie Leonard
Lockie Leonard is a children's television series in Australia based on the Lockie Leonard books that premiered on the Nine Network on June 19, 2007. Albany, Western Australia, was the location for the series' filming. A second series was shot in 2009 and aired in Australia, the United Kingdom, and Ireland in 2010. Goalpost Pictures Australia produced Lockie Leonard, which is distributed by the Australian Children's Television Foundation. Jebediah sings the theme song, "Worlds Away." Lockie Leonard debuted in the United Kingdom on Saturday, September 27, 2008, as part of the long-running children's Saturday morning show TMi, which airs on BBC Two from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. It aired for the first 12 episodes on CBBC Channel before continuing. The show received a TV Week Logie Award for Best Children's Series in 2008, and star Sean Keenan was nominated for a Graham Kennedy Award for Most Outstanding New Talent. It received the AFI Award for Best Children's Drama Series in 2007. The series was nominated for Best International Children's Drama Series at the 2007 BAFTA Awards.
